Drilling Works Contracting Company was founded to meet the growing need for trenchless works in Saudi Arabia. We invest in current rigs and methods and employ a highly skilled workforce from the pipeline, tunnelling, drilling and piling industry.
From short utility crossings to three-kilometre bores under sand dunes, one team plans the method, prepares the pits, drills, installs the pipe and coats the joints.

Horizontal directional drilling
Steerable bores from 20 m to 3 km for water, oil and gas lines and cable conduits, under roads, waterways and sand dunes.
Micro tunnelling
Laser-guided tunnel boring for 1,000 to 2,800 mm pipe, holding precise gradients below the water table at up to 3 bar face pressure.
Direct Pipe
Pre-fabricated steel pipelines of 30" to 56" pushed into the ground while it is excavated, in one step, over drives of up to 1,200 m.
- Auger boring Cost-effective jacked casing crossings of 12" to 48" under railways, roads and structures.
- Vacuum excavation Exposing buried services by suction, with no mechanical contact, so cables and pipes are not damaged.
- Concrete and steel piling Sheet pile walls and bored piles for deep excavations, launch and reception pits.
- Dewatering Lowering groundwater before excavation so pits, foundations and trenches stay dry and stable.
- Vertical drilling and cathodic protection Water wells, geothermal boreholes and deep anode wells for cathodic protection. Approved by Saudi Aramco.
- Robotic field joint coating Internal and external girth weld coating for 8" to 60" pipelines, with robotic cleaning and inspection.

Maximum length of one continuous crossing for each method, to scale. Final length depends on ground conditions and pipe diameter.
