Vacuum excavation
Exposing buried services by suction, with no mechanical contact, so cables and pipes are not damaged.
Vacuum excavation removes ground material by suction to expose underground services quickly, without tools touching the pipes and cables. This avoids damage to existing services and the cost of repairs and extra works.
Our vehicles from Germany excavate material up to 250 mm in size at up to 10 cubic metres per hour into an on-board container. Excavation is carried out with a remote-controlled arm at the rear of the vehicle, reaching down to 45 metres vertically or 125 metres horizontally.
