Sheet pile walls and bored piles for deep excavations, launch and reception pits.
Sheet piles are interlocking panels driven into the ground with an impact or vibratory hammer. They are rarely part of the permanent structure but provide structural resistance in deep excavations, including the launch and reception pits of our trenchless crossings.
Alongside steel, newer materials such as vinyl, plastic, precast concrete and fibreglass have proven as effective and are often less expensive. We select the system to suit ground conditions, depth and programme.
